The submission of a website to a search engine is very different from search engine optimisation. Search engine submissions are just the start of a very long journey. The aim is to implement a series of procedures that end with your website being highly ranked for your chosen keywords. This journey is known as search engine optimisation or SEO.

Getting listed on search engine databases does not mean that you will necessarily rank well for particular terms. It merely means that the search engine knows your pages exist. However, if you don’t have a ticket, you can’t win the prize and Net Visibility is always investigating ways to improve the methods we use for search engine submissions.

Search engines are forever evolving and this means that it is critical to fully understand how each and every search engine prefers websites to be submitted.

In summary, to rank highly with a particular search engine you must first tell that search engine you exist. The more pages that your website has, the more search engine submissions you can undertake. The more search engine submissions you do, the better your chances of ranking highly for multiple keywords.

Net Visibility advises that for each keyword within your portfolio, you identify a unique page of content and submit that page to the search engines i.e. 30 keywords in a portfolio requires 30 pages of search engine submissions.
